STEWARD SCHOOL KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION The Steward School will conduct Kindergarten registration on January 11th and 12th between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm. If school is cancelled on either of these two days due to inclement weather, please register your child by January 20th. Children entering kindergarten must reach their fifth birthday by September 1st of the year in which they enroll. To prepare for Kindergarten registration, please go to our website www.tritownschoolunion.com ( Steward Elementary School –Parents Tab– Kindergarten Registration Forms), download, complete the forms and bring them with you on registration day. Parents/Guardians should bring their child’s birth certificate and proof of Topsfield residency to the school office at 261 Perkins Row. There will be an informational meeting regarding the three and five day programs on Wednesday, January 4th at 6:30pm in the Steward School library. The Congregational Church of Topsfield invites you to attend a Christmas Concert & Carol Sing Saturday, December 3, 2016, 7:30 PM at the Meeting house located at Main & Washington St. at the Topsfield Common. A family event featuring Marc-Antoine Charpentier's In nativitatem domini canticum, as well as selections from Handel's Messiah and Corelli's Christmas Concerto, and a traditional carols sing-along. CCoT Music Director Joel Schwindt will lead the Chancel and Bell Choirs, along with organist Bart Dahlstrom, and members of Music at Eden's Edge.
A reception will follow in the Emerson Center Fellowship Hall.

Steward Preschool Open House
The Topsfield Police Department is presently taking reservations for an upcoming 4-hour, Firearm Safety Course that will be hosted at the Topsfield Police Department 210 Boston Street, Topsfield on Saturday, December10, 2016 from 8am-noon or 1pm-5pm. This course fulfills the State of Massachusetts requirement before residents can apply for a Firearms Identification Card or License to possess or carry a handgun. There is a $50. charge for Topsfield residents and $100. for non-Topsfield residents. Interested students are asked to email Sgt. A Mandatory Outdoor Water Restriction is in effect starting May 26th due to very low Ipswich River stream flow. Outdoor water use is limited to hand-held implements only, before 9 AM or after 5 PM. Sprinklers or irrigation system use is prohibited. The restriction applies to public water customers and private well owners. Operation Concern is a service provided to Topsfield senior citizens and disabled residents, in conjunction with the Topsfield Police Department, Topsfield TRIAD and the Topsfield Council on Aging. It is totally voluntary. The purpose of the program is to give seniors and disabled residents a means of checking in to the Police Department on a daily basis to tell them that they are ok.Please click here to get more information and the form.
