Information Meeting and Registration

Kindergarten Registration: January 11th and 12th between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm at Seward school, 261 Perkins Row.

If school is cancelled on either of these two days due to inclement weather, please register your child by January 20th.

Children entering kindergarten must reach their fifth birthday by September 1st of the year in which they enroll.

To prepare for Kindergarten registration, please go to www.tritownschoolunion.com ( Steward Elementary School - Parents Tab - Kindergarten Registration Forms), download, complete the forms and bring them with you on registration day. Parents/Guardians should also bring their child's birth certificate and proof of Topsfield residency.

Tri-Town Council Open Gym Nights

The Tri-Town Council announces Open Gym Nights on January 7th and January 21st for Masco Middle and High School students from 7 to 9 PM.

Town Census and Dog License

The 2017 Topsfield Census and Dog License Applications have been mailed.

The signed census forms may be returned by mail or in the drop boxes at Town Hall, the Library or Post Office. During non-business hours, they may be dropped in the mail slot at the Town Hall Front Door. Signed census forms must be in by January 15, 2017.

Dog Licensing Deadline is February 1, 2017. FMI call the Town Clerk's Office at 978-887-1505 or email clerk@topsfield-ma.gov

Topsfield Police Department Citizens Police Academy

The Topsfield Police Department will be sponsoring our 10th Citizens Police Academy commencing on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 6 pm to 8:30 pm. Academy classes will run every Tuesday night for 10 weeks. Classes will be held at the Topsfield Police Department, 210 Boston Street, Topsfield. Interested Topsfield residents, from seniors in high school to senior citizens are welcomed to participate.

Comcast & Verizon Cable Contract Renewal

The Town of Topsfield is negotiating renewal cable television licenses with Comcast & Verizon per the federal cable act & Massachusetts state cable statute. The selectmen held one public hearing on 11/21/16 and have continued it to a future meeting (TBD). The public may attend hearings and submit comments regarding the town's cable-related community needs. Written feedback may be sent to the Selectmen's Office: selectmen@topsfield-ma.gov.

Operation Concern

Operation Concern is a service provided to Topsfield senior citizens and disabled residents, in conjunction with the Topsfield Police Department, Topsfield TRIAD and the Topsfield Council on Aging. It is totally voluntary. The purpose of the program is to give seniors and disabled residents a means of checking in to the Police Department on a daily basis to tell them that they are ok.

Topsfield Cable TV accepts announcements for its Community Bulletin Board. Please submit text announcements of fewer than 600 characters for best results. Alternatively, send a pre-formatted image that will show exactly as-is when aired. The image file must be 720x540 pixels and in .jpg or .ppt format.
